The Game That Never Was (Samurai A)

Share

...The game that we never got. A Samurai Asshole sequel that MindChamber would've made, that is, until that never came to be, and the main character was put into Newgrounds Rumble as a playable character. For more information about this game, here's the archived page of some details of it on MindChamber's former website.

As you can see here, Samurai Asshole is fighting the unused ninja character from the same archived website. However, judging by the figures in the background, they seem to have some history relating to each other (bet you can guess what they used to be like)... one can only wonder why they now fight to the death.

Speaking of which, I notice that the ninja character looks a lot like Hanzou. Perhaps the ninja is their ancestor? Who really knows?

I would've also drawn the other unused characters that were planned for the sequel, but I just wanted to put my own spin on the ninja specifically. This is because of the long and complicated relationship between the samurai and ninja classes in real life; some claim they're sworn enemies, while others believe they were actually the same.

PrincessElis responds:

I loved it when Samurai Asshole went "it's assholin' time" and then asshole'd all over the place. That was truly the moment of all time in his sequel.

I thought they were kissing for a second.

Great art my friend! It's a bit unfortunate that we will never have an official Samurai A-hole sequel, aleast not officialy (nvm, it's all fake, saying that this is giving me mixed feelings is a bit of an understatement)

PrincessElis responds:

...Yeah, the last part of this aged poorly (hence why I removed it). I'm sorry for just telling you about this, but now I don't take any sides on the "situation" I alluded to earlier.
