So I wanted to practice a different style for these drawings (especially with the use of color). And yes, it ties into the Samurai Asshole/Nene headcanon... again. This time, I decided to picture who I thought would contrast Pico and Darnell: Larry (from Larry of Karryon) and the orange knight (from Castle Crashers).

For Larry, it's because he and Pico already look similar (monochromatic eyes and small statures). The thing is, he's not made by Tom Fulp, so it's kind of a reach to connect him to Pico, but I included him here anyways because I still felt like he was pretty similar to Pico regardless.

For Orange Knight (who, like S'Asshole, is also made by Tom Fulp), it's because I couldn't think of any other character to link to Darnell. But considering Orange Knight's main gimmick is pyrokinesis, I supposed that would factor into Darnell's love for fire.

I know it's pretty weird to connect them like that, but I guess it makes sense since Larry, Orange Knight, and S'Asshole apparently lived hundreds of years prior to the Pico trio. Specifically in medieval times, if the settings that their own series' take place in are anything to go by. These three pictures reflect their own thoughts, especially regarding their descendents.
