As for the post war environment the corporations were eager to lend a hand to the prisoners as they were not only comprised of the tekghuls it also housed other species who also shared a life with a steady diet of cruelty, imprisonment and factory dust. It was a wave of corporate sponsored uprising that turned the Tekghuls into a formidable player in the off world sectors. The last specimens of their original species are rare and were either secured by the corporations or the major gangs that were aware of the corporate tricks and secure that their own species. Their treatment varies depending on the gang as some of them view them with resentment as the ones who sold them out to slavery and others see them as highly important remnant of their golden age as for the corporations they do need some easy to grow employees every now and then.
