I'd been inspired to draw this after having met the voice of Akuma from Street Fighter 5, Richard Epcar, at Ohayocon '23. It took me an entire year to get it to look good in my head and it was worth the wait.
I even started picking up kanji ink writing as a side hobby as a result of this illustration!
