A dual swordsman who fights with special plasma blades, the PLUSJITTES. She sports a rough tomboyish look that would repel the toughest of souls. She has a number of scars both self-inflicted and from external causes.

While she sports a mean look and is quick witted, usually she is generous and kind like an older sister. She knows when to respect an opponent, and offers advice freely. She can be described as a tsundere of sorts. Despite being an older sister-like figure, she’s hesitant to be called big sister.

Any interaction with her can be described as ‘founded on respect’. She is a bit older and taller than most of the other sticks. When talking to those younger to her or with less ability she takes a harsh presence-stealing stance, ordering commands with a loud voice.

She is an engineer of her own and manufactured the PLUSJITTES and her armor herself. Why exactly she is in Page with skills like hers is unknown.

Powers & Weaponry:

• She wields two engineered rods dubbed the “PLUSJITTES”, normally stored by compartments on her shoulderguards. They are durable and heavy like metal pipes, complimenting her commendable strength. While the rods are blunt weapons on their own, they can “turn on” by flipping the switches on the crossguards. where they glow brightly and are coated in a contained field of very hot plasma, allowing them to cut through virtually anything. Her fighting style revolves around twirling around in a wild manner, using her rods to cut through opponents and deflect attacks. She is also adept at using them in their “off” state fighting like kali arnis, acting like glorified lead pipes and placing them in front of lightning-based attacks to further add to their charge.
• Several of her Techniques rely on strong discipline to maintain their stability, as the main crux of them are her hands. Discipline is very evident in her fighting style- her weapons are dangerously close to her bare arms and body, and her hair is still at risk of being burned, but her expertise with the PLUSJITTES is to the level where these are negligible issues.

Weaknesses:

• Bourne is not immune to the intense heat her own weapons create. Several of the scars and burns on her toughened body are due to mishaps of her own.
• Her weapons have a limited charge to them. Bourne can only hold at least an hour’s worth of charge in her shoulderguards, while the rods themselves can only hold up to ten minutes of charge (not including the usage of higher-intensity techniques such as those below which rapidly depletes this charge).

Techniques:

• Parallel Circuit - Bourne points both ends of her swords at the tips. The plasma on both rods converge and swirl around, producing greater cutting power and length at the expense of maneuverability.
• Verticlash - Bourne converges both of her swords near the base. As plasma finishes bubbling at the bases, she suddenly swings her swords outwards opposite of one another, forming a large plasma blade to cut through targets (Ultraman Ace).
• Rod Fence - Bourne turns off a rod, sticks it into the ground, and steadies herself to go against a low-proximity or powerful attack.
• Sword Stick - Bourne turns off a rod then places it on her back as she turns around. This is great at defense, putting an opponent in range.
• Seriecircuit - Bourne once again converges both her swords at the bases, but instead of placing them away opposite of one another she instead reverses their positions so that the coalesced plasma fans out into a fan-shape, so that the energy and blades form a pizza slice shape. This acts like a giant makeshift shield and deflector.
• Bourne turns on a PLUSJITTE during the climax of a swing then shuts it off, extending its range significantly for that one slash.
• Slasher - Bourne slides one PLUSJITTE’s plasma blade downward from the other. The grinding motion fires a pulse of plasma in a direction.
• Bourne unleashes a barrage of arnis-style strikes in quick succession.

Trivia:

• Her eyes look like small katanas. Her name is also a play on the word “burn”.
• Her hands are calloused and rough to the touch.

Key Moments:

• She would be one of the many influences on Typhon’s exploration of Plasma, the first even. She would also be one of his long lasting rivals.
