I just watched The Cabinet of Dr Caligari and quickly became a fan of it, its a German silent film that came out since 1920 and its about a mad doctor who controls a sleepwalker named Cesare making him kill people he hates I guess, why does he want to kill these people? because he's a dick and I don't why the reason he makes him kill SOME of these people but it's quite spooky. It's all told by in an asylum but I sure don't want to give out the ending. But the reason why I drew Cesare is because what I found the most interesting was his character, he seems scary and all but he's doing this whole thing against his will, there's this one scene I liked where he had to kill this girl but refuses because of her beauty was just far too much for him to do! oh god.
I admire the look of the film and Cesare, you could tell nowadays what inspired horror fans like Tim Burton with the whole crooked dark world and Cesare which I like his look too and would also inspire characters like Edward Scissorhands, well that's about it, posted this drawing for Halloween and I recommend watching the film if you haven't seen it.
