I leave my entry for sweetsixteencomic here!
as some of you may know energyseekers is a project of my own. I do sprite animations, designs, backgrounds and other things for the game, in the programming I get help since I'm not a programmer (but I do what I can xD)
it's quite a lot of work but we take it easy to do a good job.
I also like to draw things related to the lore of the game.
breakpoint is a short story that works as a prequel which tells how Barrick abandons the rest of the group because of a mutant infection that turns him into a violent being and since then he has been missing until the events of the game.
It was fun draw this comic

I'm happy that there are so many different art styles represented in this comic contest - seeing whole comics done in pixel art is really cool. Overall I really liked this story. While I'm not familiar with the setting or characters, it was easy enough to grasp all the necessary info from the context. I love when characters show their softer sides and when there is room for emotional content in stories, so I appreciated the Blerg/Barrick unrequited love subplot. Really nice job, and good luck in the contest!

its just a little bit of lore, theres more to tell but I plan to show all that in the game or in drawings and animations where I give more context about the characters and the story
I watched some few pages, but had to stop because the font is at this resolution and size painfully hard to read. Don't get me wrong, the overall aesthetic and resolution choice for this webcomic is fine. Just that text though...
