That's interesting that the Shadow Queen can turn her head a full 360 degrees. It kinda furthers her spookiness/eldritch nature with the similarity to that bit in The Exorcist.
How do you manage to do animations like this where you've got something flying around and make it look so fluid?
the way i achieve the movements here is mostly with a handful of neat parentings and constraints. the good daughter is essentially orbiting a bone in the shadow queen's lower body.

It's amazing how this little creature can survive only by it's speed. Also, it sorta reminds me of the eye from Mario 64's boo's mansion. Very smooth animation as always
