Corvid Kid: Chapter 1 The Nightmare (Sixteen-Page-Preview)
ShareI finally got something Corvid Kid-related done(ish)! I've been hard at work for the future of this series, enough so that I feel that the old animations do not reflect my true vision for this series. So consider this the preview of Samson's new debut! The animated episodes I made prior to this are more of a proof of concept now that I look at them. I do want to keep animating, but I want to be smarter about how I handle those moving forward.
All pages were inked traditionally, and wow did the look pay off. It took a lot of extra work to make this look clean and to get it scanned but I am really happy with the end result. Now I'm super pumped to get the last few pages done!
Life has been keeping me from my work, but I have been really inspired by the whole comic-making process. I initially started this work before I knew of the Sweet Sixteen Comic Contest, so it was fortunate timing for me to push something out. There are 8 pages left to be sketched and inked, so please keep an eye out for my future uploads if you want to see how this ends for my beloved Samson!

Makes me really happy to see Samson content after so long, and even more that you're planning on doing a comic series!!! I cant wait to see how this develops, genuely very excited.
Really enjoy how creative some panels and pages are, love when the traditional form is broken and comic artist just mess with the panels a lot. Such a bless.

SO COOOOOOOOL!!!!!! the lack of dialogue really adds to the suspense i think ^^ and this is all traditional? which i think is incredible yayaaahhh

Ayyy, that's awesome!! I love wordless storytelling. It's unorthodox but a fun exercise in conveying a story!
