I've thought about redesigning Roy's dad, Cyrus.
Cyrus was formerly an investor and secretary of Gusty Valley along with former mayor Solomon Bigwig. Solomon was killed by Goliath, the former treasurer, and stole Solomon's place as the new mayor of Gusty Valley. Cyrus was not pleased especially since he already knew that Goliath was the one who killed Solomon and his two sons. Cyrus did his best to play along while playing detective, but Mary, Goliath's wife, already knew Cyrus's master plan and didn't like how he was being nosey at work. Mary decided to put her hoof down and evict Cyrus and his entire pack. Before Cyrus and the wolves left Gusty Valley, Cyrus told Paul, Mordecai, and Maxwell about Goliath's scheme of destroying Gusty Valley and turning it into a new toxic empire. After Goliath's defeat, Cyrus and his pack returned to Gusty Valley but not too close to any other neighbors, only because Mary is still here as the mayor.
