more hana!! yippie!! lol

i have been trying to get back into digital art so stay tuned for more of that stuff- but even tho i already have hanas full backstory up on my refsheet might as well post it on here for more context- fair warning my writing isn't all that great lol but here ya go-

BACKSTORY!!

Hana was born in one of the high class hospitals though her mother gave birth in one of the super private hospitals so therefore no one really can confirm who her mother really was, not even the superior void class knows and they pretty much know everything. And for some reason didn’t have any eyes and was blind for a bit. She used to feel around and listen to sound so she could get to places in her early stages of life (child and teenage years) though it was difficult to learn how to do those things on her own. She was never actually bullied but a lot of the other void monsters didn’t really trust her because they suspected she was human and just had a mask on so she was teased every so often and in one instance another monster whenever she was in highschool attempted to rip off said “mask” but once they realized it was her actual face and she wasn't a human a lot more questions were asked and where she came from was a mystery to even to hana herself.

No one is even sure she was birthed by a superior void classed monster and a lot of monsters doubt it since hana doesn’t fit the standard because of her overly apologetic and kind and easily frightened demeanor. Due to her powers she was classified as a high lower class mainly because she did have the traits of a higher class but because of her powers she is only a high lower class until further notice. (until it is confirmed her mother is actually a superior void class)

Thankfully Hana wasn’t blind for the rest of her years and whenever she was lost trying to find her house after being teased by her classmates afterschool for not having eyes which she was used to but this time things got physical so she had to run off and instead wandered into a back alley she tripped over a dead corpse even though she thought it was a big rock or boulder. She fell face first onto the ground and whenever she was feeling around so she could get up she felt the said body. When she realized it wasn’t a boulder/rock and was an actual a dead body of course she was frightened but she had a sudden urge to see if the corpse had any eyes probably because of the desperation to see things around her since she didn’t wanna be blind forever which mainly came from the teasing and loneliness she’d get. She wanted to cry for years but was never able to, which frustrated her even more- instead of calling for help she crawled onto the dead monster and kept saying sorry repeatedly because of how bad she felt for what she was about to do. She hesitantly stuck her sharp demon fingers into both of the corpses eye sockets eventually tearing them out and merged the eyes with her face which felt disgusting since she had never done this sorta thing and never saw herself doing something so gorey.

Once she had merged the eyes with herself tears instantly started to form both out of relief and guilt for doing such a thing to a corpse which was a recently murdered body or was due to falling off a tall building. The worst part was that the corpse was a demon as well so it hurted her even more since it was her own species AND it was someone from her class but she didn’t think too much on it since tears were flowing down her cheeks at this point and she would just cry more. Whenever Hana heard monsters approaching she quickly ran off still trying to adjust to her eyesight but once she ran home she realized a lot of blood had stained her school uniform which made her feel more terrible but eventually she cleaned it which she now could do on her own without struggling every time because she never usually gets help with anything. Whenever monsters started to realize hana had somehow got eyes it was of course investigated some even linked it to the recent murder/suicide of another demon but it was never taken seriously by authorities or any of the very high ranked monsters and she just lied about how it just came out of nowhere which of course she felt bad for but didn’t wanna get into any trouble. Hana was deemed more untrustworthy to the other monsters but that didn’t bother her that much since she was used to keeping to herself and now she can see she can do a lot of things she was unable to do and during this time period where summer break started she soon found out she was trans and thankfully she could easily change her gender with a simple snap of her fingers which not a lot of demons can do willingly and was probably she got from her mother. Though this made the teasing form into bullying quickly which she was not ready for since she always thought of everyone as a kind and sweet person deep down no matter how cruel they were to her and she just thought the teasing was just “silly jokes” from her classmates even though it wasn’t that at all.

The bullying was pretty violent so violent in fact she was nearly killed and got some of her long hair cut off. She would have defended herself but she would’ve felt guilty for hurting another monster but soon enough she did the rest of high school home-schooled which was deemed better for her so she wouldn't be harmed.
