Gwuenevere the Preeminent (2021)

Share

From a simple librarian to a battle-hardened war-mage.

Gwuenevere was Apolle's progenitor and one of the most powerful fragile objects in the Mundane Realm. She hails from Erdestra, a sizable kingdom nested in the valleys shadowed by Mount Altia. Her magic is earth-based with a strong attachment to metals, giving her the ability to summon crystallized iron swords, spikes, and chains. She was highly talented in war magic, although she had trained herself before fragile objects were allowed to fight in their kingdoms’ armies. While many remembered her for her heroic deeds, Gwuenevere was a controversial figure to some. She was a self-taught mage driven by ambition and courage. Incredibly brave in the face of danger and kind to those who needed help.

Gwuenevere died during the Battle of Danvern Fields while defending her home from armies from the Kingdom of Janthizera. She was 60. Apolle's kernel was harvested from Gwuenevere’s remains a week after her death.

Material makeup/Repair requirements of Gwuenevere's core:

  • Core type: Long Cloak, fragile/cloth-based core with a high chance of damage and injury
  • Gwuenevere uses spells to deflect or mitigate attacks, not too strong to slow her down, but light enough for her to float and soar. Important to slip through enemy attacks.
  • Medium to thin cotton fabric, mostly soft to the touch, with a blueish-grey body and indigo hemline
  • Light purple lace fabric made of cotton with a very simple grid pattern (not pictured here)

Gwuenevere's cork leather gloves and armor are not a part of her core and can be removed or easily replaced.
