Your new persona is cool. I kinda like the old one but I felt like it had a small amount of “false joy” to it.
Another year has come and gone. With every end comes a new beginning, and with every beginning comes a willingness to change oneself for the better. For me, it's no different. As you can see, I changed how I view myself in my art via a new persona.
At this point, I don't see my previous persona, Reilly H., as myself these days. It would be nice to be an adventurer with a magic pencil and friends from a different planet. Unfortunately, that isn't how this reality works.
Nowadays, I see Reilly H. as my superego, the super-critical conscience that makes the right decision.
As for my id, my innermost innate instinctive impulses, that role goes to my fursona, Kasper Hendricks.
With a superego and an id already in place, this new persona represents... well, me. The ego. A messily mixed bag of both.
I want you to see me in my truest self because, even though it would be nice to live in a world where nothing goes wrong, and everyone is happy, it's better to be grounded in this reality.
I also want to represent that morality isn't all black and white. Even though it should, we can't attain that type of conscience. Therefore, you must keep an open mind about other people no matter the vibe they give.
With all that said, I hope you make new of yourself this year. Perhaps it will make this year better than before.
