*chicanos lol
This was the first monotype print I've ever made! It's a really cool medium, and this first attempt has a lot of mistakes, so I'm exited to get better at it.
I've had the image of a wooden skeleton toy and a burger in my head for months now. It's a cheeky metaphor related to my identity (I'm Mexican American and my American side is way more prevalent).
There are more skeletons to come!
*chicanos lol
Nah, spelling it as "Chicanes" was on purpose. I want the Hispanic community to incorporate gender neutral language into Spanish, even if gender agreement is literally a grammatical structure of the language. I've never liked the term "LatinX" or "ChicanX" 'cause that's just white people imposing their own rules on a language they don't understand. But I hope Hispanics use more gender neutral terms for people with "-e" instead of only "-o" and "-a".
Damn, I got myself writing a whole paragraph, lmao.
