Earlier this year I was involved in 5 D&D campaigns at the same time, a little crazy, but hey. Everyone had great stories I wanted to be a part of too!
It always amazed me as to how everyone playing had a great sense of imagination, and were at some point really into their role playing. Even if they weren't all that great of an actor or actress themselves, they just became another version of themselves, and it was glorious seeing that.
Some short shy girl played a strong dwarven woman
The guy with the stache played a badass sniper bird lady thing
The chubby guy who fashioned a hipster hat played an aggressive dragonic
And I played just another me on every occasion.
It was through all these wonderfully imaginary campaigns that I found a more clear and precise definition of myself.
Someone who is protective, caring, curious, and most importantly stupid.
