Adaline

Share

Adaline is the fifth protagonist of Iconoclast.
She is a former Saint who then became a mercenary who traveled around the kingdom as a bodyguard for a merchant.
She used to belong to a family in a village that was raided by a large group of bandits. She was captured and had her innocence taken by one of the bandit leaders.
She was saved by a mysterious man cladden in armour who killed the same man in his tent with a halberd. He escaped with Adaline and took her to the cathedral where some good friends took care of her.
Growing up in the cathedral, she was already tough-skinned due to her traumatic experiences. She excelled in training, eventually becoming a Saint and becoming apart of the top 10.
Dante and her grew up with each other once tgey met in training. Soarring with one another and sometimes venturing to the market to play around. Adaline even had a crush on Dante during this time.
This changed however when she witnessed the destruction of the cathedral first hand when the Four States decided to attack. Locked in the cathedral itself, she managed to escape via a blown out hole in the wall and journey to Kravstan castle, an ally kingdom to the cathedral.
From there she worked alone and eventually became a mercenary with new gear. However she managed to escape with her weapon, a claymore, before escaping.

Adaline wields her claymore, a war hammer, and dagger as her weapons.

She used to have braided hair, a custom for female Saints, but cut it off because she wanted to hide her identity as well as loose something for an enemy to grab.
