Malissa's abilities are more powerful than I first thought. Limited as far as having to make contact with the target, but still reliable. Her body is able to retain a rubber outer layer, resembling a tire. The rubber seems to absorb energy and she redirects it at will. Usually in the form of punches and kicks.Nothing projectile based as of yet. Whats more, her bones coil up like springs to further increase the force already stored. With her body taking on its durable rubber appearance I'd imagine her skin would shred to pieces. The kinetic force that gets redirected from her arms alone could send out some powerful shock waves. However, if she strains herself too much she could suffer extreme amounts of fatigue. Still boggles my mind how she can be pregnant and not harm the baby while taking on direct blows. Dr. Fawn is just as puzzled, wants me to remind her to remain cautious. She says she's willing to spar with Nubia to hone her abilities, overcome her limits. Time will tell...

In the meantime, we'll monitor her child's development as she continues to improve. No telling what results we'll come across during our field test. Better now then later I suppose. Still, a child in natural stasis inside the body is strange, even for us. I'll keep adding to her section in the Compendium along with the others. A full record of everyone here will be our way of rebuilding what was lost long ago.

Second entry so far. I wanted to continue the trend of my first one, but I decided to go ahead and add something I had finished a while back. I mostly draw in pencil and I rarely color. There is a filter on the picture from my phone for dramatic effect.Besides that, this is more or less my raw talent I suppose. There is a few things I'd do differently. Like the spacing with her eyes, change her pose a bit, and work on her fingers a little more. All in all I made this as a reference because i'm redesigning a lot of my characters. So I know what they'll look like going onward. I guess I should have put up a side by side, cause its been years since her first conception.
