Portrait of nurse in yellow scrubs, oil on canvas, 12x16. I was commissioned to paint this portrait of a nurse who passed away. Shot on Canon Rebel t3i, 28mm lens, with manual flash and edited in Darktable. If anyone wants a super hi-res version, pm me and state your reasons. Hope you like it!

Thanks, man. That actually means a lot. I've taken a bit of a painting hiatus as I deal with other things in my life. I've recently purchased a new wooden panel and primed it and I've been meaning to start another piece very soon.
Gosh, really nice work man. You got that lovely brushstroke texture but the portrait still feels so tender,,, kudos.

I think this is a very nice way to honor the nurse. I love the mixing of paints and colors here - it looks like a classical painting in my eyes. You did a nice job! :)
