Jazza's monthly challenge August 2016.

Hayao Miyazaki has been a great inspiration for me.
His brilliantly memorable stories touch my deepest emotions.
I respect his tales and the beautifully crafted characters both good or evil.

My artwork is a tribute to this wonderful mind, something I have been wanting to do for a long time. I wanted to do Miyazaki and his characters justice.

Miyazaki is featured central in my artwork in black monochromatic, with his character and their exciting bright colours surrounding him.

I used traditional materials: Grey lead, black fine liner and watercolour on cartridge paper.

Wonderful piece

This is very wonderful all the different pieces in here and you bring them all together in one piece it all looks great and very artistic with some nice style too you should have backed the backside with some color of some sort

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
Added background color would be a plus

Thank you so much!
I will also look into your suggestion. :3

A pretty impressive collage of memorable characters here! I recognize quite a few of them too. Very nice work on color and shading, and of the main character in particular. An impressive amount of detail overall.
