One of the other things I drew for Art Fight, here's Zeri Mizu (character by SyncUp). I almost never draw humanoid characters because it's very hard for me, but I wanted to try and challenge myself this time. For context, this character is supposed to have a Jelly Fish on her head which is why she looks the way she does.
I had four major difficulties while drawing this. First off, her proportions were hard because I'm just not used to drawing people. I made her head too big at first lol so I had to do some adjustments. Secondly, hands, but I think that's a common one to struggle with? Third was the chest, as I pretty much never draw that kind of stuff. And lastly I literally never drew feet before so that was a little hard. But despite the difficulties, I really like what came out of this! I'm hoping to do better next time, but I also hope you enjoy this :)
Left to my own devices, this is what human figures look like when I draw them too. But, here's a cheat I've learned.
Daz3D is a free art program that comes with basic male and female models. You can pose them and use them as refs just like a wooden desk one (but much better).
