Killer Snowball (Pico Day Special)

Share

Happy Pico Day everyone! This may not be a Pico drawing but I thought I'd bring-out a more obscure mascot from the site, and give it my own take for the heck of it...also them being a bunny was totally coincidental, as I was going to chose a Madness character instead, but found more potential with Snowball.

The design is a mix of how I'd imagine him looking in the animations, as well as his art in the credits of BunnyKill 5, while adding my own flair to it like those wavy shadows on the fur.

By far the hardest part of this drawing was that I used the somewhat crappier Pencil2D instead of Krita. Why you are probably asking? No reason, it was more as a way to practice using this program than anything else since I use it for animating. The devs themselves also said that the vector tools were unstable, so like a good little Samaritan I used the vector tools for everything! (besides the sketches and the signature) This includes: The line-art, the colours, the shading the background, and even the text was traced using those same vector tool. Surprisingly only crashed like 5 times during the whole thing; lucky me!

I was originally planning to make this awesome fight scene, but...let's just say doing it all in one month with very little skill in frame-by-frame animation made it a little difficult to do it all on time. However, I did prepare a bit of a sneak-peak of what I've made so far:

It's not much, and I plan on polishing what I have here and posting it later because I need to get a flow for animating. Right now I can animate, but I have no idea how to plan an animation, let alone a fight scene.

Maybe for the next Pico Day I'll be able to animate something.

Have an awesome Pico Day everyone!

I think you have talent.

Thank-you! I always appreciate it.

Been doing this for about a year and a half, and I think it's finally starting to pay off.
