Crude, lewd, and with an attitude, Kai goes on long aspie laden tirades about smoking weed and banging “babes”! However, his extroverted randy personality is utilized to conceal a more sensitive soul and an unpleasant family past.

Kai’s father was a biker and drug-dealer who got his mother addicted to heroin. When Kai was only 16 he was introduced to hard-drugs as well and his father recruited him to “help on runs”. Kai quickly learned he was ambidextrous and could duel wield any type of hand gun with lethal accuracy.

On one such “side trip” Kai’s father was going to off a tenant for turning down a bribe to move out of his apartment. In addition to pushing drugs, Kai’s “dear old dad” was also apart of a wrecking-crew and strong-arming outfit run by a slum-lord who was trying to evict people from their homes in order to bull-doze old properties behind on city maintenance codes to put up more ritzy and expensive condominiums in their places.

Regardless, the man who refused to vacate the premise had a 10 year old girl and Kai had been ordered to kill her as well. Unable to handle the sheer madness of the criminal life-style anymore, Kai shot his own father repeatedly. Crest-fallen and exhausted, he dropped his guns and softly asked the frightened father to call the police.

Kai did not even see himself as any kind of hero for doing the right thing. He was just tired of his pop slowly killing his mother by feeding her addictions and sick of getting beatings along with mom whenever the waste of space was in a shitty mood. Be that as it may, the man and little girl he had saved were eternally grateful and testified on Kai’s behalf.

The judge gave Kai a light sentence and he was more than happy to do community service and use the time in juvenile detention to “get clean” to free himself from heroin’s dangerous allure. It was during rehabilitation Kai met Rebecca (She was their for possession of marijuana and tagging) and the two of them became dear friends.

When Kai went home his mother looked much better as she had made an effort to reform herself as well. Kai had expected her to be upset with the truth of his kin-slaying but instead she tearfully embraced him with a smile. Kai’s aunt and grandmother had moved in to help and it was from them he began to learn about his gypsy and fey ancestry. (Kai’s sharpened senses, ambidexterity, and 6th sense certainly seemed more plausible due to his elf heritage!)

Though all seemed to be going better in Kai’s life, a tragic event took the life of his best friend Rebecca. However, this moment of loss and grief “did” bring Kai and Silent-Bill together and they’ve been inseparable compadres ever since! Recent strange rumors suggest Rebecca has been seen again. Can Kai and Bill solve this mystery?

 Additional info/powers: The local marijuana, peyote, and shroom guru, Kai happily hooks up teens and adults with the “good organic shit” but has an extreme hatred for hardcore lethal chemical drugs. He and Bill have chased out or outright annihilated many disreputable crime syndicates that were peddling ice, blow, and heroin whilst said syndicates did child sex trafficking on the side. Though the police of Gutter-delve would never confess it outright, they’re very grateful for Bill’s and Kai’s vigilantism.

Despite not having tapped into his full magical potential as an “awakened” elf, Kai is ambidextrous, decent at parkour, and a practitioner of gun-fu. (Martial art style utilizing hand guns, ricocheting bullets, environmental lay-out memorization, and quick concise movements.)

Between them, Bill and Kai have even perfected a method to help junkies detox safely. It’s a sacred mix of warm bubbling clay (That the addicts submerge their bodies in like a bath),sage smokes, and certain herbs that are ingested via a refreshing tea blend.

Usually responsible for getting people "clean", Kai did none the less encourage Ben O’Sheely to smoke pot as I way to alleviate stress. (Before marijuana the young wizard was a straight-edger.) Truth be told, smoking reefer has helped Ben “mellow out” and become more social! (It's even gotten him in touch with a few of his more latent powers)

Kai also makes a point of hitting on (flirting) with Amy whenever he sees her. Even if Liam is close by,Kai will still refer to her as "Tits" or "Hawt ass". (To which Amy replies with a roll of her eyes while asking for Kai to "Put his dick in a wood chipper")

Note: Canonically Liam and Amy eventually went separate ways when Liam ended up pursuing Sarena. (Described later) So it is possible Kai and Amy might actually "have a fling" down the road.... Deep down Amy is attracted to Kai...she just rather not admit it!
