Jehovah

Jehovah was defeated by Knoss during the Avanguardian god-war,his remaining weakened essence becoming fused within a corrupt shard of amnellium will crystal. (Which would eventually become known as the dark gem)

While possessing Adam, Jehovah studied Ysiridil (The tree of life that birthed many new supernatural races) and devised a plan to create a similar sentient organism from found pieces of the will crystal. This new crystalline "cradle of life" would then absorb all souls upon the universe's destruction, putting them into averial bodies grown and genetically augmented by the cradle itself. (Otherwise known as the heavenly ark)

In Jehovah's twisted mind averials were Keldor's best children. Creating other child races only led to disagreements and bickering within the council. If "everyone" had been united as one master-race such pathetic squabbling would not exist. As such, Jehovah seeks to recreate reality in his image, one in which only averials (his own kind) exist.

Both humans and non-averial supernaturals are seen as enemies to Jehovah who believes their souls can only be saved once they pass thru the heavenly ark thereby trans-mutating into angelic beings themselves. Without diversity there's no conflict. In unity there will always be harmony. (Or so Jehovah believes and to "harvest" these wayward spirits for his ark he deliberately creates chaos, wars, and conflicts.)

At some point Liam brings up individuality cannot be destroyed as even people who belong to the same race will still have their own biases, strengths, weaknesses, quirks, and unique aspirations. He further elaborates unification is more rewarding when diversified sentient beings work together for the greater good of their own accord as opposed to being forced to by a Machiavellian scheme to make them all the same.

When defeated a second time Jehovah acknowledges Liam (Knoss) was right all along as otherwise he would not have been victorious during both their battles. (If Jehovah admires anything it is indomitable strength)

Failing to extract the remaining amnellium-will-shards from Liam's body, Jehovah dies his final death thus leaving the "Heavenly Ark" incomplete.
