Doctor Adam Ambrose comes off as a friendly,laid-back, and respectable physician whom none the less has a forgettable face. In truth Adam evokes this "special ability" to go about his work unhindered and to hide from a dangerous foe fused with his very life force.

Not known to many, Adam is the very same iconic figure referenced in the bible. As the edenite lost scrolls suggests,he was the chieftain of one of the first tribes that found a shardling (crystal child) and various pieces of Avanguardian technology. When the beautiful esperlin (succubus) Lilith emerged from her hibernation shard she fell in love with Adam and they had a family together.

Akin to many edenites, Adam is "almost" immortal (Very long life span) and along with his wife is one of the sole progenitors of the soul'jin order. Though Adam used to be a warrior and a battle-mage he has since honed his mystic abilities to become an extraordinary healer,master surgeon,and one of the few doctors who knows how to treat the more unusual diseases and ailments various supernaturals have to deal with.

During the phage-war (a battle between edenites and dandalion suffering from a berserk inducing madness shared by a corrupted hive-mind) Adam found a smooth dark gem with a sentience inside that promised him it would depart the knowledge necessary to defeat the enemies of his people. Adam formed a desperate alliance with the gem little knowing doing so had made him vulnerable to possession from the fallen arch-angel Jehovah.

Though Adam was eventually able to separate his psyche from his malevolent "partner", Jehovah was still able to draw on his life essence to "manifest into reality" for limited amounts of time. Adam tried to dislodge the evil jewel from his forehead but alas,it stayed firmly embedded. Far worse,Adam discovered during his loss of control when Jehovah gained dominance over his mind he had harmed his wife and almost destroyed the edenite civilization as a whole, the very same civilization he had previously led into a golden renaissance. If not for Adam's sons Enoch and Caine he would have continued to be Jehovah's puppet.

In modern times Adam occasionally entertains the notion of reaching out to his children (Including his daughter Lachesis) but feels too guilty and regretful over past sins to gather up the courage to do so.

Adam has tried taking his own life in the hopes of dispelling Jehovah as well but the dark gem itself prevents him from succeeding at such endeavors.Still, a silver lining exists! While Jehovah occasionally uses Adam as a battery to generate enough energy to become corporeal, the arch angel can no longer "take possession" of Adam directly allowing the good doctor to stop some of the angelic parasite's evil schemes........

Abilities: Adam's clinic exists in its' own pocket dimension in which he can open a door to any hospital on earth. Without even using a scalpel, Adam's hands can become incorporeal as they reach into a body at which point he can remove cancerous tumors or shrapnel,purify chakras of any negative energy, dispel viruses,negate toxic chemicals,cure diseases,repair bones as well as damaged tissue,purge lungs of fluids,or literally "rip out" malicious beings possessing someone without even leaving a single mark on his patients. Naturally if used in reverse any of these beneficial boons could misalign someone's chakras so they couldn't use their innate psychic or magic abilities, severe someone's soul chord to set them hopelessly adrift on the astral plane whilst becoming unable to return to their bodies, or leave them a broken bloodied mess both externally and internally. Fortunately as Adam believes in the Hippocratic Oath he'd never use his expertise to harm the innocent...
