Traditional piece inspired by my stay at a mental health hospital. We were given fifteen minute smoke breaks in which people that didn't even smoke still went out. For them it was a chance to see clear sky without a window blocking their view. Without the stuffy air of a mental/behavioral health clinic. I used the time to smoke and get to know my fellow patients. Some of them wonderful people and some, well, not so much.
I used a sheet of printer paper, combination of drawing pencils (H,B, and 2B) and a medium sized blending stump.
This is one of the few pieces that made it out of there. Most of my art, that I kept in a small portfolio, was stolen from me by another patient.
