Decided to sketch my dnd character now that we're nearing the end of the campaign setting.

Name: Phineas McCorney

Nickname(s): Finn, Cowboy, Butterfly (don't ask)

Race: Human (also kind of half-warforged now)

Age: 25

Gender: Male

Class: Artificer Artillerist Lvl. 6, Fighter Lvl. 2

Alignment: Neutral Good

Brief Backstory: Used to be a kid living in a steampunk western-style wasteland with bad parents. Learned to build stuff with junk by observing others, practicing, and sometimes taught by other scavengers. Joined a Robin Hood like gang that he looked up to. One day, an airship heist went wrong and most of the gang was captured, and he ran away with his leader's rancher hat, the only thing remaining after the airship lifted off. He studied some more outside of his town, and then joined a guild for money.

Why No Cowboy Hat Anymore?: We managed to find the old gang, but they were used for experiments, turned to mindless controlled robots by a bad dude. Said bad dude was apparently supposed to be a recurring villain, but Finn just fuckin' double tapped him (Both shots high damage and one of which was a Critical Hit), in literally the first turn of combat, into his own machinery turning him to minced meat. After that was dealt with, the hat was laid to rest with the rest of the gang.

What's With The Robo-Limb and Shadow Sword?: Basically he (along with other PCs at some other point) entered a magical cabinet that was (presumably at the time) a part of an in-world event, but turns out it was a fucked up magical trauma cabinet that showed us a timeline with events that our characters feared the most. Unfortunately, what was felt there was very real, and he lost a limb, organs, etc. as his friends that had been turned freaky robots tried to "assimilate" him too before the vision ended and he was spat back out of the cabinet. He was repaired by a helpful fella, also Vecna (a not evil version of Vecna) lended his aid, since another PC offered him the hand of Vecna and a special sword that he could wield with it, after a bit of dialogue.

Believe me when I say this is a brief description of events, this campaign has been going on for quite a while 😅
