Anyways, this is Jirai. The Beta form is their default. The Alpha form, lovingly referred to by me as "Girai" (pronounced with a hard g, "gee-rye" with "gee" as in "geese,") only comes out under specific circumstances, and is considerably more powerful than his beta form.

This is also my sona, and the meta reason why there are two forms are for when I'm feeling confident and good about myself (Alpha) or any other time when I'm not (Beta.)
