wow, interesting way to go about this challenge! i vike the contrast between the brich joyfull pink and the sad blue. Very good job!
i also really like the placement of the moon, the piece overall gives a real sense of tranquility.

some remarks:
-maybe you could try and make the transition from blue to pink in the moon a little softer, right now it kinde feels a little unnatural. If you really want to keep the bold transition i would suggest having it follow the shape/ curvature of the moon if that makes sense?

also the silhouettes of the buildings in the background seem to have dissapeared. I would also try to create a gradient of the red light you put in towards the sky and maybe have a couple of small clouds to break it apart.

Anyway, love it! good luck

Mythro responds:

Thanks for the feedback, man.

The transition of colors in the moon was originally smoother, but I have this problem where the colors on my graphics tablet are much more vibrant than the colors I see on my laptop screen. Seeing this image for the first time on my laptop, it seemed MUCH more dull and dead, so I have to compensate by adding extra saturation- and contrast-modifying layers over the entire image. This worked kind of well with everything else, but the moon was affected differently, and there wasn't any more time to change it...

Thanks again. I really do appreciate the advice.
