The perspective is well done. Nice artwork btw
I do not have a singular favorite racing game. I believe that at the racing genre's zenith exists not one, not two, but a trio of thrones at which three legendary games sit that to date (March 2024) have yet to be challenged. With this piece, I have finally finished my tribute to all three of them.
The others:
With this piece I faced a conundrum: I do not care for the poster car for Need for Speed Most Wanted. I have never been a BMW guy, I come from a GM family and my favorite car is the Mazda Miata, and the Miata isn't in Most Wanted, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT IS?? A 2004 CADILLAC CTS. Every time I play that game, without fail, I grab the Cobalt until I can grab that Caddy and hold onto that car thruought(sp?) the rest of the game, and as such I wanted to illustrate a summarization of my experience with the game and how much I love it. the most forced fish eye lense I can muster, plowing through a gas station, charging towards the whole force, bloomy piss filter out the wazoo, I wanted to portray the visceral anger that is somehow contained within this game as best as I possibly could, and genuinely I hope I pulled that off to a respectable extent. Because Most Wanted is not just a game where you run, it is a game where you can turn around and fight back with a deathwish, and unlike the more recent entries in the series (which I still absolutely love btw), this isn't guarenteed suicide.
You have no idea how relieved I was when I looked up gas station explosions to see that they are absolutely MASSIVE.
One day I will own a copy of this game on every system it came out on, I'm sane I promise.
The perspective is well done. Nice artwork btw
Thank you soo much! I blocked it out in Blender first before moving to Sai. Unfortunately the only car model I could find that blender would accept was a Challenger so I just rolled with it
