Okay I think I get it, they’re not a hive or so much an actual ecosystem, they’re the souls of the damned transformed into demons to torment eachother as part of their eternal damnation.
Oh yeah, maybe this should be called the twin horror instead of just horror.

The seventh page of a little bestiary project I'm working on.
I'm going for a certain theme with all the monsters being connected in some way.
I tried to make it look like it was written in someone's journal, but I was worried that the text wouldn't show up good so I put a lot of white where it is so it could be read easier.
