Felt like doing some Minecraft sketches based on the iconic Flat Steve promo art
also an exercise in exclusively using the default MSPaint palette, I haven't used it in a piece in ages.

It is possible it's just that nobody does it, Most stuff I can think of off the top of my head uses the, admittedly kinda gross, purple/green/flesh colours in huge washes and it just ends up looking really nasty.
I've been training in using these colours for years now so I know how to use them, even the secondary colours hidden in the edit colour menu. The only thing that's really limiting about the complete palette is that there aren't many oranges,
It's dynamic, the colours have great harmony, the spray sparkles in the backgroud are fun to see and the shapes, look at these gorgeous shapes guys!!.
All of this combined creates a feeling of nostalgia.
The vibes are unmatched

There are a few who tap into the potential, it's been a sturdy, dependable tool for years. I also like it because it embodies some of the things that I use when making art. I like to use utilitarian things as opposed for shooting for real art stuff, It's way more accessible and fun to work with. Office pens, School Work Books, and MSPaint have served me very well.
