NAME: Regina Zaragoza
AGE: 24
OCCUPATION: LAPD patrol officer.
BACKSTORY: After losing her mother to the violence caused by the Knights of Terminus, Regina grew up and joined the LAPD to do her part in making her city a better place. It was on the police force that she not only found comraderie, respect, and a connection to the spirit of her late mother, but also an opportunity to hold those accountable for the death of her parent.
Not long after her enrollment, however, a hellish and mysterious contagion emerged from the filthy Los Angeles river, turning the homeless population--and soon a portion of the city--into distraught cannibals.
Regina witnessed the police force from within relying desperately on the use of force to survive the night.
Soon, the city turned into a war zone. and the public denounces their department's choice to "continually respond with aggression."
It's here that Regina finds herself at a crossroads. Preserve her relationship with the very people who will protect her in the face of danger? Or her relationship with the public, and perhaps even the law?
