happy happy demon (depression eater)

Share

I once tried to turn Sayori from Doki Doki Literature Club into a monster and decided on a demon.

It's just a rough concept, I don't really like the clothes yet.

The idea is that several circumstances, including depression, led to Sayori's death. Through her death as a human, she becomes a demon who feeds on the grief and depressive thoughts of her victims.

I'm not sure if or how I could do a little lore for you. I could make it so that she kills her victims when she has consumed all the sad thoughts and feelings. So their victims could then be hanged like themselves, except that the victims would all be grinning (which can be really disturbing for those left behind). I'll touch it up a bit. Please let me know your opinion.

Love the concept.
She attacks her victims while saying: "Life is too short to be sad, you just got to smile, smile, smile!"

I was under the impression demons would cause depression, not consume it.

Monster8maker responds:

It's more normal, but that's exactly the point I find interesting when the demon approaches depression.

At least she became happy as a demon? :O Poor Sayori

Monster8maker responds:

It's sad, but hey as a demon she's actually happier, and from her point of view she makes others happy too (at least from her twisted point of view)
