Mona Lisa - A Quentin Blake Interpretation

Share

My first entry to the Challenge of the Month!
This is a take on the famous Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci through the lens of Sir Quentin Blake - an English artist who has illustrated over 300 books, including ones for the acclaimed author Roald Dahl.
I felt like the realistic, detailed portrait of the Mona Lisa would contrast intensly with Blake's loose, almost childish way of creating art, so I decided to give it a try and love the way it turned out!
