When you lose someone you love the earth seems to lose so much of it's beauty and warmth with them. But we need to remember that if we simply look around us that the color is still there as is the love we share.

I used an art program on my computer to remove the ghost and then used a makeshift light box to draw her outline in several different colored pens. I then used regular colors for the ghost and "highlights" and cool gray markers to color everything else. I gave her color because our world seems to lose color with them, but you can see that she reflects color, not light, because neither is truly lost if we honestly loved.
