I love this era of history and this piece of art is beautiful
That's one hell of a sharp shooter right there. Seriously 3,000 confirmed kills, 1,918 unassisted.
Back in the actual war such a pinup would have been considered pornographic and probably confiscated (remember this is an era where a woman showing off her ankles and calves anywhere but the beach could arrested for public indecency). Which means poor blighters in the trenches would have wanted one in their dugouts by hook or by crook. My only query is where is the cartridge belt?
