These are kind of nifty and seems you have a few of these, I like it though and a good character nice form most of all nice color theme, and the backround work is really good, I could see you adding some effcets here and there just an idea to think about, anyways nice work.

I do not like his pose but I like his colors. my background sucks as usual TmT working on it!
He is a Indian Ocean oriental sweetlips!!
So each of these is based on an actual fish...? Interesting style on this one, the texture (albeit maybe unintentionally distorted) reminds me of nineties-style animes... character form too. Not bad.
