This is my entry into this months CotM "Man's Best Friend" by Draw with Jazza over at YouTube \o/

This is a picture of my lovely Roxy. I got her when I was 11 and she quickly became my warmth and light. When I got her I was going through a really rough time in my life what with being badly bullied at school-by both classmates and a teacher-, and a rather...violent divorce between my parents. She always knew when I needed her, cuddling up to me until I felt some what better, and I'd return the favour by *hiding* her from the lightning storms she hated so much.

She is sadly no longer with me and I wanted to try bring a memory to life where, after a really bad day, she *warmed* me up by almost climbing into the bath just to check on me after I was quiet for too long. I'm still far from getting over the fact she is no longer with me and this whole challenge had my eyes tearing up continuously x)

I've never tried drawing a pet before and this seemed like a good reason to give it a try, and damn if it wasn't great therapy. :P
