Aged 24 years old, Jennifer Halton is the other protagonist of our so called story. At a glance, she's someone who acts exactly how she looks. She's rough, sarcastic, and listens to a lot of rock/punk music. What you might miss is that she's quite tough too. It's hard to believe that someone who spends most of her time working at the mall or lazing on the couch can be so strong.

As the roommate of Ninjiro, she's his lone confidant and friend. At least unofficially, as only a select few know that he lives with her. It's a mutually beneficial thing, as it makes sure nobody can track him AND it keeps her rent down. As for why they're bunking together? One stormy night she found him shimmied up against her window, hiding from Moon's Eye clan members hunting him down. She accidentally let him after failing to hit him and he hasn't left ever since. Not that she minds too badly, he's entertaining company.

Jen (do NOT call her Jenners) is a perpetually tired woman. If asked why, she'll just tell you that working the night shift at the local mall is exhausting. If probed further, she'll simply tell you to kiss off. This goes for anyone asking about her past too, such as why she's got a silver tooth. If asked enough times, that's when she starts getting mad. One can't be sure if she's got a secret to hide or just prefers looking towards the future.

That being said, she's quite curious about OTHER people's pasts. Just ask Ninjiro about every time she's tried to yank his mask off. It seems that Jen has a hard time connecting with others, as she has very few acquaintances beyond coworkers and neighbors, so perhaps this is her attempt to try to connect with him further. Or she's just very nosy. Hey, who am I to say?

While she looks rather rough around the edges, and she is, that's not to say that Jenny doesn't have a soft side. More than anything else, she loves to chill out, listen to music, and laugh. If you can make her laugh, you're already in her good graces. Although, one should be wary of her temper as it won't take much to set her off if you press the right buttons.

Despite her tough exterior, Jen can be a rather empathetic and understanding friend once you get past the barriers she sets up around herself. After all, many people would have kicked Ninjiro's broke ass to the curb by now.

No, intrepid viewer, you're not in some Twilight Zone-esque situation where you're in an alternate dimension where everything is the same except I only posted Jen's character sheet just now. This is only an updated version, as I found myself growing more unhappy with how the first one came out. I think I was so pleased with how her faces came out, I ignored everything else and rushed to post it. Even then I knew I could have done more, but I fell on my old crutch of, "well I'm not a real artist so good enough."

That changed as I got more invested in these characters over the past week. I soon realized that I needed to put in maximum effort! Don't they deserve it after all? Especially Jennifer, as she is my favorite character just after Ninjiro himself. So, here she is again. It's very similar to the last one, except I changed her body to be more feminine (I think I'm finally okay at drawing women) and to really add some fun details to her clothes. I'm much more happy with how she looks now and I hope you will be too.
