A new character has appeared! Who is that goth chick? That's Caroline [LAST NAME UNDETERMINED]. She's one of Jen's coworkers at the mall and the closest thing she had to a best friend before Ninjiro came along. Ninjiro and Jennifer were originally going to see the movie themselves, but they invited Carol along since her shift was over at the same time as Jen's.

For those who are familiar with the other two characters, you still probably don't know that Ninjiro is the closest thing that ninja has to a real name. This was revealed in one of the pastebins I wrote (which I'll shill for right here). Bit conspicuous, ain't it? I did consider going with something absolutely stupid like John Inja for a normal alias, but the two leads both having J names was a bit much.

As for why Jen doesn't like it? I feel it's almost funnier if it's just an instinctual reaction, but if that doesn't cut it for you then I think she just had a shitty ex named John. No offense intended to any of the potential Johns in my audience.

I'm honestly kinda proud of how this one came out, though. It feels like a higher quality than my usual output, for whatever that's worth.
