I don't know if this is something anybody will notice or care about, BUT in that third panel you'll notice that Jen calls Ninjiro, "Ninji," rather than his civilian nickname, "Nicky." This started off as an unintentional error, but I kept it since I liked it. She's nervous and let it slip out by accident.

Ninjiro and Jenny are totally smoochin', I would dare to say they're in kiss city.
I could potentially see Jen and Carol smoochin' if Jen wasn't smoochin' on Ninjiro.
Absolutely no shot between Ninjiro and Carol. Good friends, but definitely not each other's types.
