Bedtime Story

"What do you MEAN the smelly knight defeats the dragon!"

"Oh, you think the princess should stay in the castle and marry him instead?"

"YES"

"Okay then, let's see what we can do about that..."

Emi practiced her storytellin from very early on and also found a way to get her baby bro Vinnie to sleep at a reasonable time. At some point he started to get a bit picky with the endings tho.

Ok, this explains a lot of her teasing him. She had to micromanage his ass when they were younger and it must be very tempting to remind him that she is The Mature One and he Isn't.

My older brother had to keep me from getting into trouble, and he still sometimes picks on me for having been that tiny buffoon who didn't understand the consequences of my actions because he protected me from them.

melsnoodles responds:

Vin was a handful indeed!

Awww, man, I had the same thing with my older cousin; it's funny how that creates this sensation that you'll always be the little one, but it's also a cozy reminder of shared history. It felt really pleasant to try and portray that somehow.

your comments always bring me joy; thank you! <3

aw whaat this is so dang cute. The soft lighting is really well done.

melsnoodles responds:

Ahhh thank you! ;;

"Look sis, the dragon's got a hoard of treasure, he can breath fire, and he's always around. He's rich, he can protect her, and he's available. Can the knight really top that?"

melsnoodles responds:

His tiny brain makes the best arguments and yet all that comes out is "DRAGON BIGG FIRE GO FWOOSH"

she gets it tho, back to the writing room
