This is my submission for the open category. I spent some time thinking this prompt and it made me start thinking about color vs black and white. Whenever I sit down to work on a project, I always have my marker case on my desk. Just seeing all the colors laid out can be so inspirational. As artists we generally bring color and life to the world or at least we try. So I thought this would be the best depiction of that idea. I also wanted to include some other artists that have inspired me along the way. There were so many more I wanted to add to this piece, but I just didn't have the time to add them. Still I wanted to at least pay some tribute to those that have helped me along the way.

I used my very old 2009 Genius tablet to complete this piece. I have to say I really hope I can win because I really need some updated equipment with more pressure sensitivity lol. Still I hope everyone likes this.
