I spent at least three days on this, making it by far the longest time I've spent working on an art. And I'm so happy with the result. I never have done any art on creatures before... well except "Pyros". But that flame-being is just a doodle compared to this one.
I think this was inspired by a pheonix, or something like that. Especially the long tail ends. ^___^ I hope you guys like it.

absolutely awesome color selection
blue, yellow and pink is a strange combination but it really worked your you, i like the wings a lot
the 'illumination' effect was nice
and the background fits very well, so dark... pretty nice

Gahaha, yeah I like blue. This color combination was actually borrowed from the Final Fantasy series. You know those images they show on the title screen?
