Hello everyone! i hope your doing alright these days. Even though fire emblem three hopes is coming out soon, i can really see it satisfying my current fire emblem itch lol. As much as how amazing three houses was, i find myself occasionally thinking back to the previous versions where they had the trope "dark beauty" (tharja from awakenings, camilla from fates) but i dont really recall one being in three houses? (maybe cornelia was it? but she barely showed up so its hard to say). I havent drawn a pic of tharja in a very long time, so i kinda wanted to do something different this time around. I wanted to try using different perspectives more, to see what i can come up with, but i was having a fair amount of trouble keeping things in line. After a break and some youtube, i came across some Marc Brunet videos, and one of his more recent ones was explaining how to use a bounding box for perspective in art. I might have said it before, but the man is a genius lol. After using the bounding box to help keep everything in perspective, i think it helped the picture turn out amazing. I always try to make the most out of learning experiences, and i had a blast working on this pic. I hope you all enjoy it as much as i enjoyed working on it, and until next time, take care!
