Hello everyone! i hope you have been doing alright these days. I was working on a second artwork while i was finishing my last picture, but ended up scrapping it because i started to not like it. Thats a good thing, because i got to create this picture instead! I knew i wanted to draw a picture of Nebula, but i didnt know what i was going to d exactly. I actually had to take a break for a few days to figure out what exactly i was going to do with the background, and was mulling over it for a while. Then it hit me.. a temple of the night. Originally i was going to have the background setting be a stone chamber with stars and space dust lingering about, but then I had a brilliant idea, and thought it would be more interesting for it to actually be out in space (where the stars are more visible) then in the atmosphere. I realized i couldnt do a lot because this was going to be a character focused picture, but playing with different ideas of how the temple entrance would appear, had myself playing with a lot of different settings and layers. I cant think of a time where i had so much fun working on a background as much as a character, so this pic will stay with me as a rare treat.
