I was too lazy to come up with a different name so I used Cars 1's as the sponsor only had him in mind.

Even if Dale Earnhardt Jr. did actually retire, Pixar probably would have kept him given no new sponsors and that 8 background racers kept on racing so it is not completely outside of the realm.
