I hope Modnation gets another entry someday!
I made this around last year while going back and playing ModNation Racers. Tag-Chan aka genderbent main protagonist graffiti artist Tag.
Man it brings me back memories of creating and sharing my Mods & downloading other's creations, racing online and having such a good time. This game (also LittleBigPlanet) was the reason I really wanted a PS3. Since then, This game along with both LittleBigPlanet 1&2 remain one of my most favorite games of all time. I'm just glad my spoiled little 14 yr old self got my Mom to buy me a PS3. Lol
Before that I had the PSP version, but everything felt very limited and wasn't as good. And I did not like LittleBigPlanet on PSP because it kept crashing alot for no reason (not sure if I was the only one with this problem), and it was very limited that it made me wish I had a PS3.
I love this game to pieces and it's such a shame there haven't been anything since "Road Trip" on PS VITA in 2012 (more like a watered down port). Even for it's 10th year anniversary no remake or sequel on PS4 or PS5, but instead absolutely nothing it's depressing. And when I heard that a sequel was planned but got reskined to "LBP Karting" (it's not as great), It filled me with rage and just makes me angry thinking about it.
Come on SONY bring back this underrated gem on your newest hardware, I guarantee it will blow up and sell like crazy if Miitopia taught us anything. And since "United Front Games" (the developer) is now defunct, why not handover the IP to another developer who's willing to bring it back to life (Sumo Digital would be perfect). One can only dream.
I hope Modnation gets another entry someday!
Dude same!!
I feel like Sony isn't the same Sony from the PS3 era not only for lacking free online play, kinda also due to their lack of diversity 1st party titles, all of which (except "God of War" and "Ratchet & Clank") died out, especially "ModNation Racers" (which frustrates me even thinking about it)
Newer 1st party titles now all look the same with these boring realistic graphics, and no artstyle to them whatsoever.
