In September I started a new job which gave me a lot of free time on my shifts. So I grabbed an old notepad and started doodling to kill time, I used to do it alot but nobody really fostered it or wanted me to so I stopped.

I figured with the time I had why not try to improve on it? So I kept going and bought an admittedly bad 5 buck sketch pad that I would use when I finnished off the notebook and made plans to draw something more complicated for my first sketchbook drawing. Nothing better came to mind than one of my recent favorite Sonic characters, Whisper.

From my memory this took me about a week to draw and color 3 days on the sketch 2 to coloring. It's rough and the lines aren't "inked" (I was using Crayola pencils the best I could find at the time) something one of my friends taught me about art later on in my "journey" but I think it turned out okay.

I'm more of a writer by personal profession but I like drawing as a hobby and wanted to share some of the things I worked on the past year and 5 months.
