I got inspired to draw this after playing that godawful reboot from 2010.

the OG Rocket Knight and it's sequel Sparkster had such fun mechanics and charm, despite some spritework being a bit wonky in places and Sparkster looking like he smoked a whole buncha crack, either way I really don't get how they could mess up something so simple, fun, and charming but I digress.
